Need measurements of Derby changer hole

Post by Wayne Brown »

Hi folks i had asked this question before and thanks to the folks that answered however I guess I should have been more specific i just said guitar change hole ...so I received a lot of the measurements for the endplate changer opening...LOL :D thanks for all your help folks...But that is the wrong opening that I need the measurements for. If someone would be so kind to measure the 10 string changer opening hole in the body of the guitar as shown in the picture here please. that would really be appreciated. It doesn't have to be absolutely precise just gives me a starting point. I would think it might be easier if the guitar is upside down to do this (just my opinion) thanks folks.
Thanks

Hi Wayne, the body opening for the changer on my Derby SD=10 is 2 3/4 by 4 7/8; it goes all the way to the endplate, nothing like you pictured... hope this helps.
