Chris, I believe you'll find some info on the search option regarding the ART SLA models. Most are positive reviews with a couple of exceptions. There's a couple of single space Stewart amps on that auction site and likely some members have one they'd consider parting with to replace your challenged one.
Even though years back I considered trying them...I've never taken the time to use the ART amps. Reviews weren't bad with the exception of the fan noise but it didn't seem to fit my needs at the time. I've preferred Carvin TS100 tube amps or Mosvalve 500 amps. Premium tone but could also double as boat anchors.
I've been partial to Stewart half rack power amps for 20 years and they're still what I always return to. Great clean power that doesn't color the sound, convection cooled, and only 6 lbs. They are one of the few power amps that can run a 4 ohm load in the bridged mode. Most require 8 ohms. Here's a link to some previous ART topics.

I have an SLA 200, I don’t use it for PSG but it powers some studio monitors I have. Sounds great but the problem is the fan is very noisy on it. I have it in an isolated room and it is still loud. I tried replacing the fan with a lower noise one but it still isn’t quiet and now that fan’s bearings are starting to go which makes it worse. I wouldn’t use it for steel in any case I’d find something that has passive cooling. I have an old Halfler I much prefer in this regard.

Nathan mentions an amazing amp! The Hafler P3000 in particular produces a great tone and is a MOSFET circuitry convection cooled power amp. There's rave reviews even here from experts such as Brad Sarno in years past.
