I'm doing another prismatic listening event on thursday. In this one I will be experimenting with moving clouds of overtones around the room using small pitch variations. It's pretty cool when it works.

Turns out that moving sounds around a room with pitch variation works great. I experimented and recorded over the last couple evenings. My partner in this caper is Max Lorenzen. We set up 4 omni mics towards the corners and two sets of ORTF pairs. I'll have some recordings ready in a week or so depending on Max's schedule. Over headphones the effect is not subtle. Come out tonight at 8:00 is you are in town.

That sounds amazing, Bob. I wish I had been there to see, listen, and experience it.
