Chuck Lettes' E9th Seminar August 28, Denver
I'm excited to present an E9th Seminar at this year's Denver Steel Guitar Show.
INTROS, FILLS, AND THE OLD SWITCHEROO
Chuck Lettes' Pedal Steel Guitar Seminar
I’ve divided my two hour E9th seminar into three parts:
Part 1: Intros/turnarounds
Every steel player should have a few intros available to kick off different tunes. They can also do double duty as turnarounds. I’ll demonstrate some of my favorites.
Part 2 Sears and Roebuck (Generic) fills and licks.
Like the section on intros, these fills/licks work with many different tunes and can spark your own creativity. I also will illustrate some open string effects that I enjoy.
Part 3 The Old Switcheroo-E9th to C6th
Creating C6th sounds on E9th is easier than lugging around the second neck. I’ll demonstrate some ways to create these sounds.
When - Saturday, Aug 28, 2021, 1 – 3 pm
Where - Dougie G’s Lounge
10217 Quivas St.
Thornton, CO 80260
Bring your steel and some headphones. I’ll provide mp3s of the rhythm tracks and some steel tablature of the exercises that I will illustrate. Please contact me to reserve a spot.

Cost for the 2 hour Seminar: $40, with $5 going back to the Denver Steel Guitar Club
