Having done this one myself a couple of times, though quite different from your version, I really loved what you did here. Love the tone of those old Fenders too ... what tuning is this you're using? When I was a kid I had a Fender 400 as my very first Pedal Steel, and NO ONE to school me on any of it. It came with a book and a BaZillion different tunings, but I never figured out which one to use.

Thanks,Dale!
It was in A6. I was in the same situation as you when I started out. All the pedal steel players I knew at the time were into the standard copedants, so I was kind of on my own. But I guess it forced me to figure a lot of stuff out for myself, like you. It just took a while, haha!

Thanks, Joe, I appreciate you checking them out! Yes, the E9 neck is exactly what I have. The A6 is close. What you have on p3 I have on a homemade knee lever. P1 I raise the low A to A#. The other two pedals are just moved right one position, and instead of the C# to D change, I use C# to C. Sorry, I know it would be better to post it in a chart like you have. I just wanted to respond quickly while I had a chance.

Thanks for that Ethan, is this right?
I can make any corrections if need be, of course. (or change color, add string gauges, special instructions, etc  )

I have been working up some copedent templates, ultimately I'd like to have a tool online so people can generate their own charts...

If anybody wants me to whip them up a free copedent chart (any configuration) feel free to email me

Joe, that's great! The only thing that isn't perfect is on p2, I actually raise the high E to F. Sorry, I didn't catch that before. Would it be easy to send that to me? I'd love to have it if people ask!
