I needed to replace the pot in my older Goodrich L120,which I keep as a spare. I thought I followed the directions to place a jumper from the jack tip of the input jack to the tip of the 2nd output jack with a 1/2W 1M ohm resistor in line. As I understand it, this yields an always on output jack for the tuner. I use a StroboPlus HD tuner. I get a signal to the tuner only when the volume pedal is depressed. Perhaps I misinterpreted the wiring diagram? What am I doing wrong? The pedal is functional, I just didn't achieve the always on tuner out. (I understand the case serves as a ground for the 2nd and 3rd jacks, but I hard wired them to possibly eliminate a variable.
Thanks.

Re: Tuner Out For Your Volume Pedal
OK, never mind, I figured it out. I wired the new pot the way the previous one was wired. After thinking about it, the wire from the input jack does not belong on the center tab to the wiper. Surprisingly, it functioned that way, just not the tuner out. I corrected that and all is well.
